MONTHLY ZENTANGLE WORKSHOP
Last week was a whirlwind of leisure travel for me. Initially, I embarked on an all-women's excursion down south, delving into the awe-inspiring architecture of 9th-10th century Chola empire temples in South India. Following that enriching experience, I set out on a solo journey to Western India, immersing myself in the artistry and grandeur of 14th-15th century royal palaces of the Kush empire.
The trip left me deeply humbled. Witnessing the incredible marvels crafted by people of those eras, devoid of modern technology, was a profound experience that transcends mere words and must be felt firsthand. It was a much-needed break that has left me thoroughly inspired. Even now, with my eyes closed, I find myself surrounded by the magnificent carvings, sculptures, and artistry I encountered. As I continue to reflect on this journey, I'd love to hear about your own recent adventures.
Check out my stories for pictures from the trip.
P.S. During my travels, I've been exploring the beauty of white on black, and I even created this tile inspired by my experiences.
