Zentangle is all about mediation, but also focus. While there are no concrete rules for how a Zentangle should look, there are very helpful guidelines that one can follow to bring out the best in them while making one. With Zentangle, your art must evolve rather than following a specific path. For example, if a stroke is too long you just incorporate it into your art as your pen flows over the paper. The point is to meditate and relax, to use that as a center and draw your Zentangle from there. However while being relaxed, you should also focus on what you're drawing. The whole process may seem complicated at first but as you get the hang of it, you will be able to see yourself from a whole new perspective.
