Plano, Texas has a diverse community, a rich tapestry of cultures that makes it a very interesting place.  Plano Art Association collaborated again this year  with Plano International Festival (PIFC) to show the 4th Multicultural Art Exhibit at the Courtyard Theater  downtown Plano from September 8th to October 6th, 2011. This year the exhibit was Juried. 

The Art Reception on September 14th was extremely well-attended including the Mayor of Plano, Phil Dyer and Members of the Plano City Council.  At the reception, several artworks were chosen for awards by jurors Dana Conklin and Suzy Jones, plus a special People’s Choice awards and  the Awards were presented  by the Mayor.

The event was fun with prizes, music, food and Bacardi cocktail bar.
