PERSISTENCE TO LET AN IDEA BIRTH….
The journey of bringing an art idea to life is often long and winding one. Only through persistence could I push through obstacles and allow the idea to evolve and mature. .
It took me time almost 6 months, countless iterations, and willingness to embrace the unknown, but at the end I am excited with the results. It was as if those failed attempts only gave the idea a shape and got it closer to my vision.
The initial idea was a spark of inspiration but that concept was just the beginning. It led to a lot of exploration, experimentation, and refinement to fully develop to what I wanted.
There were and are many moments of frustration and self-doubt along the way but my desire to try different techniques, styles, and mediums to find the perfect expression which my mind agreed to with kept me going. It is like a meditation, me talking to my idea to get more clarity, often getting detracted and distracted and then consciously pulling myself to that inspiration.
This has been an important part of my process for this show and it is still a work in progress.
