How To Prepare Your Artwork And Images For an Art Show
Images and art work submitted in substandard condition can prevent you from being accepted to important art shows. Plano Art Association (PAA) is pleased to announce Barbara Mason, award winning artist and experienced business woman, is volunteering her time to teach us this crucial topic. The class will include the industry standards for properly formatting your images and when and how to frame (or not), what is acceptable and what isn't when submitting your work.
Workshop is on Saturday, 3 December from 10:00 AM until noon. Cost is $20 for members, $30 for non-members.
Zentangle Workshop
Sandhya Manne, certified zentangle instructor, will teach this popular art for PAA. Zentangle is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing. It increases focus and creativity. Zentangle provides artistic satisfaction and an increased sense of personal well being. Zentangle is enjoyed by a wide range of skills and ages and is used in many fields of interest.For more information please visit http://www.zentangle.com
This workshop will also be on Saturday, 3 December, 12:30 - 4:00 PM. Cost will be $45 for members and $55 for non-members which includes the supplies.
If you take both classes, PAA will provide pizza and drinks for lunch. Dead-line to sign up is Monday, 11/21/2011.
