As this year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting with a deep sense of gratitude.

 Recently, a friend asked me, “What are you most grateful for this year?” My answer came easily—friendships.

Zentangle has always given me the gift of connection. Over the years, it has allowed me to meet so many of you digitally, across screens and time zones. But this year felt especially meaningful. Through Zentangle retreats, I had the opportunity to connect beyond the screen—to spend time, share meals, laugh, create, and simply be with some of the most talented, generous, and beautiful people. Those moments of togetherness have stayed with me, quietly shaping my year.

 Thank you for walking this creative path with me—whether online, in class, or in person. Thank you for your trust, your presence, and your willingness to show up with an open heart and curious hands. These connections are what make this journey so rich and fulfilling.

 As the holiday season unfolds, I wish you rest, warmth, and moments of gentle joy. May your days be filled with love, your hearts with gratitude, and the coming year with meaningful creativity and connection.
