Back again with Zentangle Project Pack No. 28, and this tile is inspired by the Day 11 project. After spending five wonderful weeks traveling through beautiful European cities, I am finally back home in India—and there is something deeply comforting about returning to familiar spaces, familiar rhythms, and the warmth of home.
Travel always brings inspiration, fresh perspectives, and beautiful memories, but home has its own quiet magic. Sitting at my desk again, surrounded by my art supplies, felt grounding in the loveliest way.
For this tile, I explored Rixty and Tipple as the main tangles, enjoying the playful contrast between structure and softness. To add depth and texture, I included Pokeleaf and Moonpie in the background, allowing them to gently support the composition without overpowering it.
Working on this piece felt calm and joyful—almost like easing back into a familiar conversation after time away. Each line carried a sense of gratitude, not just for the journey, but for the return as well.
Sometimes creativity flows differently after travel. You come back a little fuller, a little slower, and perhaps more aware of the beauty in both wandering and belonging.
