A beautiful midweek unfolded with the sun finally shining after being lost all through the past week. There’s a quiet joy in this light—warm, reassuring, and full of promise. As the days slowly begin transitioning into warmer weather, the air itself feels softer, more welcoming.
Inspired by my studio garden, where flowers and leaves are beginning bloom, stretch, and flow has emerged a tan square tile filled with blooming, flowing, organic tangles that echo nature’s quiet elegance.
I worked intuitively, allowing each line to grow naturally, just as leaves unfurl and flowers open in their own time. The tangles I explored on this tile include Trisnail, Kensington, DivaDance, I Can This, and Crescent Moon. Each pattern brought its own movement and character, coming together harmoniously on the warm tan surface.
This tile is a gentle reminder to notice transitions—both in nature and within ourselves—and to allow creativity to bloom slowly, one mindful stroke at a time.
