Love in the Quiet Moments: A Mother’s Day to Remember

Love in the Quiet Moments: A Mother’s Day to Remember

These are sensitive times. The world feels a little heavier, and many of us are moving through our days with a quiet awareness—staying informed, doing our bit, and holding space for both responsibility and hope. It’s a balancing act: staying grounded without giving in to fear, and continuing to live meaningfully even as we remain mindful of the larger picture.

Mother’s Day arrived like a gentle pause in the middle of all this. My children, with their dad, had planned a lovely lunch at a cozy restaurant. Wanting to make it extra special, we invited my parents along, and it turned into a heartwarming, multi-generational gathering. There’s something incredibly comforting about sitting at a table with three generations—sharing stories, laughter, and the simple joy of being together.

It isn't complete without a selfie... 😍

What made the day even more special was a beautiful surprise from my daughter—a handmade memory box, filled with tiny, thoughtful treasures. Each little note and trinket was a reflection of our bond, crafted with love and care.

It was one of those gifts that tugs gently at your heart, a reminder that love often speaks in the quietest ways.

Later that evening, I created the renaissance tile shared above—my hands moving intuitively as I reflected on the time spent with my mom and my children. It became a piece shaped by connection, memory, and gratitude.

In a world that often feels uncertain, these moments of closeness, creativity, and love are what keep me steady. And for that, I am deeply grateful. 🙏
