Picture this - a breezy studio by the Bay of Bengal, the scent of oil paints and inks mingling with the salty ocean air, and me - the artist, and mom of two spirited teenagers - caught between creating art and chasing after life’s beautiful chaos. That’s my story, currently unfolding at my studio in Injambakkam, Chennai.Art has always been my happy place—the one spot where everything just clicks. I started out as a curious self-taught artist, diving headfirst into the world of oil paints and making a glorious mess. I was fortunate enough to have soaked up techniques from incredible mentors and master artists that I met during my travels. These days, while I adore working in oils, I also enjoy creating intricate pen drawings that let me get lost in all the tiny details. My work is like a vibrant patchwork quilt stitched together from all these experiences—an explosion of impressionistic vibes and rich, joyful colors that celebrate the beautiful diversity of life.

Ah, the ultimate question that always stumps me! My dad’s job kept us moving every 4-5 years, so I like to think of myself as having grown up all over India. - When’s your birthday?
20th October—right smack in the middle of Chennai’s festive vibes. It’s that time of year when the city is refreshed by rains after months of scorching heat. With Navaratri or Diwali in full swing, the energy is magical, and I absolutely love it! - What’s a song you have on repeat?
