That’s my story, unfolding at my studio in Injambakkam, Chennai.
Art has always been my adventure. I started as a curious self-taught artist, picking up techniques from amazing mentors and master artists during my travels around the world. My work is a vibrant patchwork of these experiences, blending impressionistic styles with rich, joyful colors that celebrate life’s diversity.
I crossed paths with some incredible women artists who cheered me on and inspired me to embrace my artistic skills fully—and that’s how my journey as an artist truly began! Since 2011, I’ve had the thrill of exhibiting in juried shows across the USA and India. And 2023? A milestone year—my first solo show at the iconic Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai!
I have been practicing and teaching Zentangle since 2010. I am also India’s first Certified Zentangle Teacher and have taught 1000s of people both in the US and India through community colleges, art associations, schools, corporate sessions, private sessions, group classes, and international online classes. I also regularly work with corporates like Wipro, Ford, Marico, Texas Instruments, Mahindra Kotak, Fidelity, First Source to name a few introducing Zentangle and advocating its benefits.

And when I’m not trekking or temple-hopping, I’m diving headfirst into my love for all things traditional and handmade in India.
