Last Saturday, I had the joy of joining CZTs Sunali Shah and Sweta Dalal for a special Instagram Live collaboration. It was such a beautiful session where we connected over our shared love for Zentangle. I created this tile on a white Zendala tile using black and brown Microns, adding depth and flow with the Aura technique.

Unfortunately, due to a technical glitch, I couldn’t save the live session. I know many of you wanted to rewatch or tangle along later, and I truly wish I could have kept that for you. Still, I wanted to share this finished tile because it carries the essence of that session—mindful strokes, shared laughter, and the joy of creating together.

During the live, we also chatted about last year’s Tangle Talez Retreat in Dubai, where I had the honor of being an instructor. It was an unforgettable experience—meeting people from around the world who all spoke the language of Zentangle was incredibly inspiring. In fact, I loved it so much that I signed up for three different Zentangle retreats this year! There’s nothing quite like dedicating entire days to tangling, surrounded by creative energy and like-minded souls.

This year, we’re bringing Tangle Talez to Goa, India—a stunning location blending Portuguese charm with Indian warmth. I’ve planned a unique, fun project for this retreat, and we have a wonderful lineup of teachers, exciting giveaways, and plenty of activities.
