Wishing You a Very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

Wishing You a Very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

Wishing you all a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi! This festival always brings with it so much joy, color, and a sense of new beginnings. On this special occasion, I created a little piece of art to celebrate the spirit of Lord Ganesha.

This time, I worked on a grey tile, which gave a beautiful muted backdrop for the design to unfold. I had an absolute blast creating this piece—because honestly, this is what I love doing every single day: planning, improvising, and letting the strokes guide me into unexpected directions. There’s a wonderful balance between structure and freedom when I sit down to create, and this tile embodies exactly that.

For this artwork, I used black, blue, and white pens, and added just a hint of watercolors to bring in some sparkle and jazz. The contrast of ink against the grey surface, highlighted with color, made the design come alive.

I’ve also continued exploring fragments, a concept that fascinates me endlessly. Each fragment is like a tiny world in itself—repetitive, yet unique when combined in different ways. Working with fragments on this project gave me the perfect opportunity to celebrate both discipline and playfulness in my strokes.

This Ganesh Chaturthi, may creativity, positivity, and new opportunities flow into your lives. Just as each tile evolves beautifully, may your days unfold with grace and delight.
