Some prompts don't ask you to think too hard—they simply ask you to listen to your heart.
Today's cue was "something you love in a color you love", and my mind instantly wandered to butterflies dressed in shades of violet and purple.
Butterflies have always felt mythical, magical, a little bit mysterious to me. Whenever one flutters nearby, I pause. It feels less like chance and more like a gentle blessing, as though these delicate creatures carry whispers from a world just beyond what we can see. They remind me that beauty often arrives quietly, asking nothing more than our attention.
Purple and violet have a similar effect on me. They are colors that make my heart leap with joy. Rich, calming, mysterious, and full of life, they seem to hold both serenity and celebration in the same breath. Every time I reach for these hues, they bring an unmistakable sense of happiness to my artwork.
So this butterfly became a joyful meeting of the two—something I love, expressed in colors that never fail to inspire me.
The wings came alive with the graceful rhythm of Mooka, Moon Pie, and Flux, each tangle adding movement and personality to the butterfly's delicate form. Around it, Primo (f), Soluna, Wumi 2, and Scena created a soft, intricate backdrop, allowing the butterfly to float effortlessly across the page.
