A Little Love on Tan ❤️

A Little Love on Tan ❤️

It’s Valentine week and everywhere I look, it’s raining flowers and chocolates. There is a softness in the air, a gentle reminder to pause and celebrate love in its many forms. I have always enjoyed these light-hearted celebrations—the tiny rituals, the thoughtful gestures, the excuse to add a little more beauty to everyday life.

Inspired  I created a heart-infused tile on tan paper. The warmth of the tan surface felt perfect—earthy, grounding, yet open to romance. I let the heart emerge slowly, adding delicate floral tangles that intertwined and bloomed outside its boundaries. Each petal and curve became a quiet meditation on love—not just the grand kind, but the steady, nurturing kind that grows patiently over time.

To enhance, I added gentle touches of color. Soft hints weaving through the florals bringing in a romantic glow, lifting the composition while still keeping it elegant and balanced. The contrast of ink, white highlights, and subtle color made the heart feel alive—almost as if it were breathing.

Well this tile is my little celebration of the season—a reminder that love, like art, is created one thoughtful stroke at a time.
